In order to introduce qualityaustria Consulting, its direction and advantages, we met with Ing. Iveta Marhounová, project manager, senior consultant and representative of the Czech consulting team.
To begin with - in your concept - what does consulting actually mean?
Our consulting is never a ‘boxed’ solution. We tailor each project to the specific company - according to its size, needs and level of management maturity. It can be a one-off assessment, a long-term development project or even a comprehensive implementation of a quality management system from scratch. Flexibility and an individual approach are clearly our greatest assets.
What is the typical process of cooperation with you?
The entire process begins with an initial meeting - in person or online, depending on our client's choice - where we listen to their needs and goals. From there, we analyze the current state of the company to understand the environment in which it operates. We then propose the most effective form of our support, select a consultant with the appropriate profile and prepare a structured plan of action. The goal is always to achieve a real change - not just to meet a formality.
Where do you see the advantage of individual consulting compared to regular training?
Training conveys information, but consulting changes practice. Unlike training, where you get a theoretical framework, in consulting we go step by step with you directly in your organization - from analysis to solution design and finally to its implementation. The consultant becomes a temporary part of your team and helps you bring the change to life.
What portfolio of consulting services do you offer?
We help with the development and implementation, as well as optimization and maintenance of management systems according to key management tools with a focus on the system and specialization in the areas of compliance, cyber security, energy management, environmental compliance, risk management and many others, tailored to the needs of the market and third parties.
Increasingly, we partner with companies that have decided to increase and improve the efficiency of internal processes or implement new standards, whether for customer, tenders or other business targets.
How robust is your team's background?
Our team consists of highly experienced professionals with many years of experience across a variety of sectors - from manufacturing to services and government or public administration. Each of them has a track record of successfully implemented projects. In addition, we work closely with experts from our parent company in Austria, as well as with our international holding network of more than 60 offices and more than 1,000 partners worldwide. This gives us access to international know-how and tools.
Do you plan to expand your services any further in the future?
Yes, definitely. We reflect the current challenges that companies are facing - be it new regulatory requirements, digitalization or the growing emphasis on sustainability. We are constantly expanding our portfolio to include other areas and trends. An important element is the connection with our qualityaustria Academy, which enables us to link consulting with targeted employee training.
